Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Anjum graduated form Allama Iqbal medical college in 1995. He completed his fellowship training from Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore and passed his FCPS in Feb. 2002. He has worked as Senior Registrar in Services Institutes of Medical Sciences before moving to King Saud University Riyadh. In King Khalid University Hospital Riyadh, he worked in advanced laparoscopic upper GI and bariatric unit for 5 years. In 2011 , he moved to Almana General Hospital Dammam which is a JCI accredited hospital, where he worked as General and Advanced Laparoscopic surgeon. During his stay in KSA , he passed his MRCSEd and Dip. In minimal invasive surgery from France. He is also a fellow of the American college of the Surgeon. He is performing complex general and laparoscopic procedure from the last 19 years. He started advanced laparoscopic and bariatric procedure in 2006 and onward. He has performed almost 6000 open surgical procedure and more than 2000 laparoscopic procedure including laparoscopic hernias, sleeve gastrectomy's, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, laparoscopic surgery for perforated ulcer and bowel and for intestinal obstruction.. Dr. M. Nawaz Anjum had been actively involved in the training of under graduate and post graduates during his clinical practice. He has delivered many lectures on various surgical topic at national and international level He is currently working as associate Professor of Surgery at University of Lahore teaching hospital Lahore and Consultant Surgeon at Ever Care hospital Lahore.
